How to Tie a Tie

It was my sophomore year in Delt and a freshman approached me minutes before our first formal Monday night dinner of the year and asked me if I would tie his tie.  I did so and he never asked for my help again.  I assumed that he must have learned how to tie one on his own and, thus, was no longer in need of my help.

Years later I ran into this same person at a formal event.  He informed me that the tie he was wearing was the tie I had tied for him for his first Monday night dinner as a Delt.  He had NEVER untied it!
